There isn’t many more parts that get removed on a race engine then the Oil Pan! And our stud kit can make that a breeze. We use only the highest grade Metric studs and nuts for a trouble-free, easy to assemble, leak-free Oil Pan joint. We have stock length stud kits which will work on factory and aftermarket oil pans, and Over-Sized studs for aftermarket oil pans with wind-age trays and or double gaskets. No matter which one you choose, these studs make installing the pan and servicing the bottom-end of your engine a much easier job. The studs also serve to protect the block and front covers's threaded holes from damage or striping. There is nothing easy about installing a Oil Pan, with double gaskets and a wind-age -tray be it on the engine stand or while laying on your back at the local drag strip. Those that like the bling, we also offer this kit with Socket-Head screws, in both polished Stainless Steel and Chrome washers.

Bell-Housing Bolts. Our Studs prevent striping & damage to block threads, plus they make alignment and attachment of the transmission much, much easier. Because of the nose heavy nature of the 4.6 & 5.4 engine, transmission attachment is difficult at best, and down right rotten most of the other times. This kit is a must for those that routinly separate the transmission for Clutch/Converter access.       We use only the highest quality, DIN 12.9 Studs & Flanged Nuts in our kit. Simply screw in the stud and slide the transmission on, it’s just that easy. The studs allow for perfect alignment, and you will never have to worry about stripping the block’s threaded holes again. Kit comes with all necessary studs, washers and flanged nuts. A small amount of Thread locker (Blue) is recommenced for the block side threads. We thread the water jacket plugs of all of our Race Blocks. This allows for a superior seal, that will not push out or leak under high RPM’s or extreme temperatures. By drilling out the water plugs and threading them to accept a threaded O-ring Boss, this allows the engine’s cooling system to be plumbed any number of way to make sure there is even and consistent cooling to all cylinders. All serious race blocks have this procedure done, so that is why we offer it on all our blocks and also offer to do it on yours. In the Taps & Drills section we sell the 1-5/8-12 Tap and 1/1/2" Drill needed to install this kit.
